MPhil program in French started in 2007 while the PhD program started in 2002 with three PhD faculty members including one foreign faculty. One faculty member is enrolled in MPhil in Paris, France. Another is pursuing PhD at the University of Sorbonne, France. Three linkages have been inked with well-known French universities: University of Franche-Comte, Besancon; University of Rouen and National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO). NUML is also member of Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), Middle Eastern Region and Conference des Recteurs du Moyen Orient (CONFREMO), Middle Eastern Region. Francophonie festival is held every year in March in collaboration with French speaking diplomatic missions in Pakistan. It has 02 PhD and 02 MPhil faculty members
including one native and one HEC approved supervisor, also recipient of French Government’s Academic award – Palme Academique.
Students with BS or Masters in French or having
16 years of schooling from an HEC recognized institution or equivalent degree recognized by HEC are eligible for admission.
