NUML and Institute of Cost Management and Accountants Pakistan (ICMAP) has signed MOU on 29th December 2022 to facilitate student / alumni / faculty / staff in their Continuous Professional Development Programs through various initiatives.
NUML and Plus W, Tokyo, Japan signed MOU on 16th December 2022 to provide job opportunities with Japanese Corporations to NUML students/alumni.
An MOU was signed between NUML and Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) on 1st December, 2022 to create awareness campaigns to protect wildlife.
Awareness Session Cohort-7 & Prize Distribution Ceremony for the graduating teams of Cohort-5 was held on 20th October 2022 in NUML Auditorium, Salaam Block. Dr. M. Zubair Iqbal, Pro-Rector R&SI and Brig. Syed Nadir Ali, Pro-Rector Resources/ DG NUML distributed the certificates to the graduating teams of Cohort-5 and Cash Prizes to the winners of the Business Idea Competition which was held in September 2022.
Two NUML Alumni also graced the event by sharing their success stories of entrepreneurship with the students.
R & SI organized a training session on effective utilization of NUML job placement system/software. All the departmental focal persons for internships & job placements from main campus Islamabad attended the session.
Business Idea Competition was held on Thursday 29th September, 2022 at 1100 hrs in Incubation Hall, First Floor, Ibn-e-Rushd Block, NUML, Islamabad. Five graduated teams from Cohort 5 presented their respective ideas and the progress they have made so far. The winner will receive a cash prize.

R & SI Division held discussion on future course of action to enhance research and commercialization activities in light of new HEC ORIC Policy with industry representatives in Conference Room on Ground Floor of Ibn-e-Rushd Block on June 08, 2021. The meeting was co-chaired by Pro-Rector R & SI Division, Dr. Zubair Iqbal Ghauri and President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ICCI), Mr. Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan. It was concluded to work in terms of research projects, exchange of research ideas and internship opportunities.
