Training Workshop on Newly Appointed & Existing HoD's 2024
The training was meant for the newly appointed Heads of the Departments to build their capacity for the new responsibilities. In order to meet the training objectives, the program was designed by assimilating result-oriented strategies. The modules were packed with interactive presentations, exercises, case studies, and relevant tips and techniques to achieve results in their role. Role plays and round-table discussions were also used to provide an opportunity for the participants to share their unique perspective and arrive at the right mindset for scaling the business to the next level. The methodology of ‘Do-review-learn-apply’ served as the key.
Faculty Development Program Level - I for Newly Hired & Existing Faculty Members - 2024
As a capacity development initiative by the top management, NUML has conducted a series of Faculty Development Programs Level-I starting from 2nd to 6th September, 2024 which cater to the new to mid-level audience to equip them with knowledge and skillset that can help them take on the role of teaching in an effective manner. The programs emphasized on areas of knowledge construction and how learning works, university teaching in a contemporary environment, research methodologies, learning management systems, creating social capital, empathy at workplace, conflict resolution, time management, leading trough diversity and many other essential topics. NUML sourced internal and external resource persons based on their experience and expertise to provide learners a platform where they can learn from experts from the corporate market as well as from the field of academia. The program was well received by the participants and they were appreciative of the efforts by NUML management in contributing towards their capacity development as one of the very rare institutions to arrange Development Programs for the existing and newly hired faculty.
