Open House & Job Fair

Faculty of Engineering & Computing organized Open House & Job Fair on 29-MAY-2024. More than 40 x Final Year (degree) Projects (FYPs) of BS Computer Science, BS Software Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering & BS Mathematics were showcased. External evaluators from industry were also invited for evaluating the projects. 
Many famous software houses participated in the Open House & Job Fair by sending their representatives for interviewing and selecting final semester students of CS, SE, EE and Mathematics. Cheezious, FES, Haleem Ghar, Albureni Technologies and Krypto Hive were among the sponsors of the event. 
Students of winning projects received cash prizes, shields and certificates at the closing ceremony from the chief guest Mr. Syed Ali Abbas Hasani - Director Industry Facilitation Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB). Mr. Ali Abbas emphasized on the importance of such events that reduces the gap between academia & industry and provides an opportunity for the students to familiarize with the demands of the industry. Dean FEC in his closing remarks, thanked the software industry, sponsors and the chief guest.
