More than 11 years teaching Experience (September 15, 2008 to present) as a Visiting Faculty member at International Islamic University Islamabad. Teaching multiple courses on “Politics of South East Asia”, ‘Asia Pacific’, Understanding China in context of CPEC”, “Ethno -Political Conflict in Pakistan”, “Introduction to IR” and “Culture and Society in Pakistan” at International Islamic University Islamabad Foundation University as well as at Iqra University since 2008.

Responsibilities: Teaching, Student Counselling, Curriculum design

Senior Research Associate: More than 10 years of working experience, as a research associate at ‘Business and Politics in Muslim World: Emerging Trends in a Globalized World’, and currently on, ‘Policy Implications for China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)’ under the supervision of Dr Ijaz Shafi Gilani since 2008 to present.

Responsibilities: Day to day news monitoring of Political, Geo-strategic, Economic, Ethnic, Environmental, Cyber and Social events occurring in ASEAN and China,  and their analysis regarding the impact of all the events at local and international level.

Quarterly and Annual analysis and presentation of the impact of these events and news at the national level and global level.

 A Research Project: Four month experience as a research associate in project “Working of parliamentary committees in Pakistan and Bangladesh: A comparative study” funded by HEC since April 2009 to July 2009.

Three months of experience in ABN AMRO

Current Activities:

1: Regular presenter on China Affairs, BRI, Trade war CPEC, details of CPEC Projects etc at ‘China Study Circle’ (CSC), an Islamabad based study circle under Gallup international and Gilani Foundation.

2:  Involved in designing the university level courses with Dr Ijaz Shafi Gilani Particularly a course on China in CPEC context. Currently working in various projects on Belt and Road, Chinese Diplomacy and CPEC.
