About the Event
NUMLogic is an event organized by Faculty of Engineering & Computing, National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad. This year , the event will be held on Tuesday, 23rd April 2024 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Bachelors level University students of computing related disciplines and Electrical Engineering from all over Pakistan are encouraged to apply for registration and take part in below mentioned competition categories:

Participants will be given certificates of appreciation and winners will be given certificates for achievements.

Competitions in 4 categories are available
Programming Competition
As the name refers, the students of computing, electrical and mathematics background can register in this competition. A team consisting of 2 students will be given programming problems to be solved within 1-2 hours using C / C++ / C# / Java Language.
- Registration fee: PKR=500/-
- Winning teams will get:
- Cash prizes for 1st and 2nd position.
- Shields for 1st and 2nd position.
- Certificate of achievement.
- Certificate of participation.

Computing Quiz Challenge
This competition consists of MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) from below mentioned subjects:
- Introduction to Computers - ITC / ICT / IICT
- Programming Fundamentals - PF / ITCP
- Object Oriented Programming - OOP
- Operating System - OS
- Data Structures and Algorithms - Data Str. & Algo.
- Data Communication - DC
- Computer Networks - CN
- Data Base Management Systems - DBMS
- A Team of 2 students can register for this competition.
- First round of this competition will be the elimination round and Final round of this competition will be among 3 x teams in Main Auditorium, Salam Block.
- Registration fee: PKR=500/-
- Winning teams will get:
- Cash prizes for 1st and 2nd position.
- Shields for 1st and 2nd position.
- Certificate of achievement.
- Certificate of participation.

Poster Design Competition
In this competition, a student will be given a topic on which s/he will create a poster design within the allotted time. Furthermore, individual participant will have to register for this competition and a registered student will have to use its own System / Laptop for designing of poster in his/her chosen tool, e.g. (CorelDraw, Adobe Photo Shop etc.)
- Registration fee: PKR=500/-
- Winning teams will get:
- Cash prizes for 1st and 2nd position.

DLD Challenge
This competition consists of the subject of Digital Logic & Design (DLD), among the students of CS, SE and EE departments.The competition will consist of 2 rounds with 2 students per team.

Round-1: Logic challenge (elimination round : duration = 60 min.)
- Two design questions to be solved on paper.
- First 10 teams qualify for the 2nd round

Round-2: Speed wiring (final round : duration = 30 min.)
- If there is a tie, then earlier submission time will be declared winner.
- Registration fee: PKR=500/-
- Winning teams will get:
- Cash prizes for 1st and 2nd position.
- Shields for 1st and 2nd position.
- Certificate of achievement.
- Certificate of participation.
