Dr Mustafeez Alvi has Ph. D in Islamic socio-political thought, along-with Masters in English Language/Literature, Islamic Studies & Arabic Language & Literature. He has worked on regular basis, as Professor & Dean/Director Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences at GIFT University Gujranwala & Lahore Leads University; has worked as Head of Department Isl. Studies at Riphah International University (WISH Campus) Islamabad.
Dr Alvi, has given many talks on social issues, in national & international seminars and on TV channels, and has presented variety of papers in research training workshops for editors and faculty members. He has authored seven books and more than thirty research pares and has supervised more than sixty M. Phil. and more than twenty Ph.D. scholars.
He has been member of the HEC sub-committee for quality research (in Islamic Social Studies) for a period fourteen years. He has an experience of devising syllabi and courses for BS, MS, and Ph. D Islamic Studies, being Member Board of Studies, at NUML, University of the Punjab, Lahore Leads University and GIFT University.
Dr Alvi has taught Philosophy, Comparative Religion, Research and different Islamic Disciplines, for more than twenty five years, at different prestigious institutions like PU, AIOU, Lahore Leads, GIFT, International Islamic University, Riphah International University & NUML Islamabad. His areas of specializations are Comparative Religion, Socio-political Thought, Modernism & Post-modernism and Islam.
