In recent years, the surge in popularity of Turkish language and culture, fueled by acclaimed dramas, has increased the demand for Turkish language expertise in Pakistan. Learning Turkish opens doors to a multitude of career paths and cultural understanding, fostering connections between nations.
Here,our vision is to lead the way in strengthening the historic ties between Pakistan and Turkey. We aspire to become the hallmark of excellence in promoting Turkish language, literature, and culture .

This semester, we reintroduced the coveted Diploma in Interpretership, catering to advanced linguistic skills. Our first Bachelor's cohort proudly graduated in July 2023. Notably, our graduates have a myriad of job opportunities awaiting them. They can undergo training at Turkish colleges, conveniently located near NUML, preparing them for teaching roles.
Upon completing their master's degrees and gaining valuable experience, our graduates often return to join our faculty. Their journey from students to teachers within our department showcases the growth and potential that Turkish Studies offers.
Within NUML's lush green campus, our Turkish Studies Department thrives amidst spacious gardens, an expansive library, a state-of-the-art auditorium, and sports facilities, providing a serene environment that enriches the learning experience, fostering creativity and exploration.
Our dedicated faculty, including native teachers, offers a diverse wealth of knowledge. The department boasts immersive cultural experiences, national celebrations, and interactive seminars, blending traditional teachings with modern pedagogies.
