Department of Korean at National University of Modern Languages is showing a gradual and consistent improvement. We are offering a range of functional and degree courses. Moreover, we have been able to revise our entire curriculum to induct not only up-to-date contents but also new techniques and strategies of language learning. Students’ participation is considered absolutely vital in all curricular and co-curricular activities. Hence, our students may be less in numbers but their presence is felt in a range of events and activities. Academic and personal counseling is also provided to address the growing queries of students. An active-alumni is maintained to ensure the strong bond between students and the department.

Overview

Department of Korean was established on Aug 16, 2006. It was a result of rigorous efforts of Korean embassy in Islamabad, NUML’s positive cooperation, and support of ‘The Korea Foundation’. NUML is the only university in Pakistan offering Korean language and culture education to masses. We have a great combination of local and native speaker teachers who are putting their best efforts to further develop the department and are leading by example. Abundant resources for research are available in central library, Korea Corner and Korean Research Center. We are doing our best to facilitate the people proceeding to Korea for education, research, travel, business and other related motives.
