Tree plantation campaign conducted on 28th August by SRS

In a powerful demonstration of environmental activism and patriotism, the Social Responsibility Society (SRS) at the Department of English (UGS), NUML Islamabad, organized a nationwide tree plantation campaign to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day. Members of the SRS actively participated by planting trees, seeds, and saplings in their local communities, from urban centers to rural areas, highlighting the importance of tree plantation in combating climate change. The initiative not only promoted environmental awareness but also emphasized that true patriotism involves contributing to the nation's well-being.
