Dr. Arshad Mehmood
Welcome to the Faculty of Arts & Humanities (FAH) at NUML!
We here at FAH offer diverse programs of study, each laden with not only discipline-specific knowledge but also myriads of prospects for research, creative work, projects, internships, and related co-curricular activities. This ambitious plan is put into practice through highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty members, who possess established national and international credentials. The unique blend of expertise and experience within our faculty helps our students develop life skills that prepare them for a variety of careers, as indeed for performing their civic responsibilities in an increasingly complex world.
The FAH at NUML follows several core values to ensure excellence. Foremost of them is our commitment to research and creativity. In order to hone creativity and critical thinking among the students at BS, MPhil, and PhD level, the faculty are continuously engaged in challenging old knowledge and recreating it anew, in the process making the students ready for the 21st century world. Secondly, we dedicate our energies to nurturing civic agency in our students. We at FAH strongly believe that an educated citizen must possess the skills, capabilities, and dispositions to make a positive difference in their communities. Finally, we at FAH believe in the core value of inclusive excellence: the belief that creativity can be ensured only when the best ideas emerge in a collaborative but diverse community that values every voice regardless of ethnic, cultural, or religious background.
This website offers you the opportunity to explore the different degrees and courses we offer, the extensive expertise of our dedicated faculty, and the overview of the wonderful facilities we offer.
