Greetings from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU)! We are delighted to announce that our 2-week PhD exploratory programme, the International Research Summer School 2026 (IRSS) will be held on the PolyU campus from 29 June to 9 July this year. We warmly invite outstanding senior undergraduates and master's students of any discipline from the CPEC member institutions to join this programme. 

Comprehensive support package includes free accommodation, cash allowance of up to HK$10,000 (~US$1,280), and visa subsidy will be provided to each participant upon successful completion of the programme. Exceptional participants may be nominated for PhD admission with the prestigious Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme, with a total package up to HK$1.7M (~US$217,700) or other PhD scholarship schemes. Outstanding participants may be selected for a one-month research mentorship under a PolyU professor following the Summer School.
