One-Day Entrepreneurship Fest – NUML Mirpur Campus

The Department of Management Sciences, NUML Mirpur Campus, successfully organized a one-day Entrepreneurship Fest on 10th December 2025. The opening ceremony commenced at 11:30 AM, with enthusiastic participation from all faculty members and students.

In his address, the Chief Guest highly appreciated the dedication of the faculty and the hard work of students. He praised the innovative Business Plan Competition, After thorough evaluation by the panel, Mr. Ahmed and Arika from BBA 5th semester secured the first position with Cash 5000 & certificate for the Best Business Idea.
A remarkable highlight of the event was the announcement of financial support by the President and invited guests to help implement the students’ business ideas. Additionally:
The President, Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and the Regional Director, SAMEDA, offered NUML students a dedicated desk at their offices to strengthen collaboration and mentorship for future entrepreneurs.
The Regional Director, SAMEDA, also announced that students will be eligible to apply for startup loans upon completion of their degrees to support their business ventures.
The event continued productively, showcasing the extensive efforts of the faculty, especially Ms. Sadia Rafique (Faculty, Department of Management Sciences) for leading the event execution. HOD Ms. Marium Azad expressed sincere gratitude to all guests and contributors.
Sir Mehmood ul Hassan and Dr. Madiha Shabbir, as course mentors for the subject of Entrepreneurship, guided the students in preparing business ideas and encouraged their active participation. Ms. Hifza Mobeen supervised the setup and management of student stalls. Programme Coordinator Mr. Munawar Hussain played a vital role in managing and motivating students throughout the program
