manually operated grass cutter machines consume too much fuel and are very costly. They are powered by electricity, solar energy or petrol engine. An automated Hybrid
Grass Cutter is an integrated system with a smart phone based android application designed especially ro facilitate humans. The system is powered by chargeable batteries
and is controlled through automatic and manual commands using an android application. Hybrid Grass Cutter operates in three different modes. The three modes of automated
hybrid grass cutters are: automatic mode, manual mode and specific area mode. In automatic mode it automatically cuts the grass ina zigzag manner. In manual mode, the
user can see the grasscutter movement through IP cameras and direct its movement. In specific area mode, the user predefines the specific area of the lawn and the grass cutter
cuts the grass of that specific area.Two DC gear motors are used for moving the grass cutter to the left, right, forward, and backward direction. The android application which
controls the system is linked by the Node MCU.
The system is tested in a small garden or lawn. The results obtaine are quite satisfactory. The three modes of operation are fully functional. The system is useful for the farmers
and the gardeners and can be controlled from anywhere using mobile application
