USAID Office in Washington DC has recently announced $2.5 million under the Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER) program managed out of Washington. Under PEER program, the lead researcher for the research carried out in an eligible country will work in tandem with a U.S. Government-supported researcher. PEER awards will directly support in-country research investigators, working in partnership with a current U.S. government funded researcher. The maximum individual award amount is $80,000 a year for up to two years. For multi-institutional research consortia, the maximum award amount is $100,000 a year for up to three years.
