Knowledge Synthesis Grants
The Knowledge Synthesis Grants from Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) of Canada focuses this year on The Arts Transformed. Knowledge Synthesis Grants are not intended to support original research. Rather, they are intended to support the synthesis of existing research knowledge and identify knowledge gaps.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Applications can be submitted by an individual researcher or a team of researchers (consisting of one applicant and one or more co-applicants and/or collaborators). Applicants must be affiliated with a Canadian postsecondary institution or Indigenous not-for-profit organization that holds institutional eligibility before funding can be released. SSHRC welcomes applications involving indigenous research.
GRANT SIZE:
Up to CAD 30,000
IMPORTANT DATES:
Closing Date: Applications are due December 2, 2025.

7th Iqbal Conference 2025
The Iqbal Chair at Bahria University is pleased to announce the 7th Iqbal Conference 2025 (International) scheduled for 12 November 2025 across Bahria University’s six campuses in Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore.

Iqbal’s Vision of Resilience, Renewal, and Global Transformation
This year’s theme invites critical engagement with Iqbal’s thought as a force for personal and societal revival across disciplines.. Alhumdulillah our previous conferences were warmly embraced by the academic community, researchers, and the general public. These conferences featured research paper presentations from esteemed heads of institutions to enthusiastic students.
Bahria University warmly invite scholars, researchers, and academicians to submit their original research papers in either English or Urdu. All presentations will be conducted online only, ensuring accessibility to participants from across the globe. Quality articles will be published in Iqbal Chair’s HEC Y Category Research Journal, Payam I Iqbal Bahria Research Journal on Iqbal Studies (BRJIS).
