T&I Literary Society- TILS
Translation and Interpretation Literary Society is active for the last one and a half years. The students are selected from different semesters of BSL&TS, especially who show their interest to become the parts of this society and have interests in activities related to Literature and Arts.
Formatting & Functioning:
Vision: channelizing and students’ literary aesthetics in the form of text(s)
Mission: Training talented students to become good editors and exhibit their literature related skills in a better way
Objective: The prime purpose of society is, providing a valid platform to voice their natural talents and nourish their inner self in a better and acceptable way in different walks of life. However, some of the key objectives are as under:
- To bring out the students from the contemporary gadgetry world
- To assist the students to hunt their literary talents and polish them in an academic way
- To provide the students with the opportunities to exercise their literary/editing and administrative skills
- To act rationally and more humanely to make society a well-gelled social unit.
Proposed Activities: Poetry Competitions, Bait Baazi , Essay Writing Competition, Short Story Writing, Editing the NUMLIAN (NUML’s official literary Magazine) Composition:
