Education & Sustainable Development Society
The Department of Educational Sciences has established the Educational Sciences Development Society (ESDS) as a structured and formally governed student body to support, coordinate, and monitor academic and co-curricular activities within the department. The society operates under a clearly defined organizational and governance framework aligned with institutional quality assurance mechanisms. ESDS aims to promote holistic student development by providing opportunities for leadership, volunteerism, academic engagement, and collaborative participation. Through systematic planning and faculty oversight, the society ensures that co-curricular activities effectively complement academic programs and contribute to students’ professional and personal growth.
The society operates under a Student Council model, with designated leadership roles selected through a transparent, merit-based process. Faculty supervision is ensured through the Chairperson and a designated Focal Person, who oversee compliance, documentation, and ethical conduct. ESDS organizes departmental events, community engagement initiatives, and student-led academic activities, and provides structured logistical and organizational support for faculty-led programs. Clear roles, accountability mechanisms, and an established code of conduct ensure effective governance and discipline. Through its structured operations, ESDS contributes directly to student support services, leadership development, co-curricular engagement, and continuous quality improvement.
