The Clean & Green Society of the Department of Korean Language & Culture, in collaboration with Islamabad King Sejong Institute, successfully organized a vibrant “Plant a Tree” campaign at the NUML Main Campus. The event witnessed active participation from the Head of Department, Director IKSI, faculty members, and enthusiastic students, all united for a meaningful environmental cause.

The campaign was organized with the objective of promoting environmental awareness and encouraging a sense of collective responsibility towards creating a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future. Participants actively engaged in tree plantation activities with great enthusiasm, demonstrating their commitment to environmental preservation and sustainable practices.

The event also served as an opportunity to highlight the importance of protecting natural resources and combating environmental challenges through small yet impactful actions. Students and faculty members worked together in a spirit of teamwork and community service, making the campaign both educational and inspiring.

In line with the core values of NUML, the initiative beautifully reflected the department’s dedication to social responsibility, inclusivity, sustainability, and community engagement. Through this campaign, participants were encouraged to recognize their role in preserving nature and contributing positively towards a cleaner and greener environment for future generations.
