The very motto of South Asian Languages Department is to provide quality education with excellent teaching and learning skills. The department has the privilege of having harmonious and rich values which have played pivotal roles in shaping the future of students and the department is committed to providing quality education to achieve academic excellence.

We have been able to revise our entire curriculum to induct not only up-to-date content but also new techniques and strategies for language learning. Academic and personal counseling is also provided to address the queries of students.

The department offers Functional (Certificate, Diploma and Advance Diploma, interpretership levels) and Graduate (BS and Master's) courses.

Our department has met the needs of army personnel for interpretation and translation. The department is designed and developed along modern lines which are tailored to impart and strengthen the student's knowledge in South Asian language and culture.
