Hands on Workshop GitHub
The department of Software Engineering Organized a Hands-on workshop on Git and GitHub on 28th Septemebr, 2022. The Trainer, Mr. Abdul Sattar is a Google Certified expert and has much experience with working on Git and GitHub. The trainer provided the details about the usage of Git and GitHub and all the necessary commands to work on Git in this hands-on workshop.

Global UGrad-Pakistan program application procedure and guidance .
A very productive webinar on the topic "Global UGrad-Pakistan program application procedure and guidance" was arranged by the Departmental Facilitation and Support Club (of Career planning society) of Department of English- UGS NUML Islamabad.
The webinar started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Aizaz Ahsan, student of 2nd Semester. Ms. Javeria Khan, student of BS English 5th semester delivered a brief and comprehensive presentation on the respective topic.
Following the presentation two UGRAD alumni of Spring 2022, Nimra Faridoon of Department of English (UGS)and Rabeea Anwar of final semester from GPP Dept joined the session and shared their experiences with the participants. A Q&A session was held at end in which the alumni cleared many concerned queries. Students of other Departments of NUML also attended the webinar.

Orientation of new BS English students
Orientation of 1st semester of BS English students was held on 12th September, 2022 in NUML auditorium at Salam Block Hall in Morning from 9:00am -10:30 am and in Afternoon from 3:30-4:30pm. The event was graced by the presence of the worthy Dean FAH, Dr Muhammad Uzair, Dean FOL, Dr Jamil Asghar Jami, worthy Head of Department (GS), Dr Innayat Ullah, Head of Department (UGS) Dr Zawar Hashmi, coordinators, Dr Muhammad Yousaf and Ms Ismat Abbas and Fcaulty members of Faculty of Arts and Humanities. The new students were introduced to the NUML life, academic and co-curricular activities, rules and regulation of Admin, Exam and Academic affairs.They were also introduced to different National and International scholarships being offered to NUML students. NUML Placement Center with its jobs and internships opportunities and NUML LMS and CMS were also introduced.
