An interactive session on the wildlife and biological diversity of the Margalla Hills was conducted on the given day to highlight the importance of clean environment among masses and to seek their support for healthy environment. Afterward, more than 25 university students took part in the hiking and cleanup effort at Margalla Hills Trail-5.

In honour of World Teachers Day 2022, Electrical Engineering Department under NEES paid a special tribute to educators who, through committed mentoring and focused instruction, develop tomorrow's leaders and inspire nation-building. The ceremony was attended by both teachers and students where students highlight the role teachers play throughout the academic life of students, and beyond, investing their heart and soul in nurturing their students. The ceremony was attended by teachers and students and cake cutting ceremony was done at the end to pay tribute to teachers for their worthy contribution toward the development of society.

The NEES members had an opportunity to visit mera ghar orphanage located at Rawalpindi. The visit encouraged the students to understand the pain of needy people in society particularly orphan children and how they can support them. Furthermore, the visitors had arranged mehfil e milad for orphan children where they were taught how religious teaching of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) can help them to become better member of society. The purpose of the visit was to make students aware of their social responsibilities for the society.
