The Department of Pakistan Studies arranged a lecture titled: “Sikh - Afghan Relations during 19th Century: Shah Shuja at the Lahore Court of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh”, by Mr Farrukh Hussain, author of the book, “Afghanistan in the Age of Empires” at the EDC hall, ORIC, NUML, Islamabad.

The academic fraternity and students attended the session. During the session, Mr Farrukh enlightened the students and faculty about the historical perspective of Sikh and Afghan conflicts in the region

Film screening dedicated to the Nuremberg Trials.

East Campus

On May 4, 23, to commemorate the Victory Day of the Great Patriotic War, the Embassy of the Russian Federation and the Department of the Russian Language organized a Photo Exhibition and a Film screening dedicated to the Nuremberg Trials. Students from different departments of our University  got a glimpse  of the most horrible incidents of WW II.
The event was attended by the  Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Pakistan  H.E.Danila Ganich, Director of Administration Brigadier Ahmad Salman, SI (M), Retd, and Dean of the Faculty of Languages Professor Dr. Jamil Asghar Jami and few other officials of the Russian Embassy.
