Resource person was Dr sobia masood , National institute of Psychology, QAU islamabad.Students and faculty members actively participated in the question answer session. Resource person emphasized upon the association between Emotional intelligence and well-being.

NUML Wins 2nd Position in PTV Competition

East Campus

The students of Pakistan Studies, Raqeeb Asghar and Salsabil Sajid, win the second position in the PTV program "Know your Constitution". 

As many as eight universities participated in the programme where the students of NUML secured the second position. The Head of the Department, Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Malik congratulated the students for their success in the programme and made NUML proud.

English Literary Society (ELS) celebrated the World Poetry Day on March 21, 2023. Students were encouraged to share their poetic works on the occasion. A poetry-display board was designed to give students opportunity to post their works for other readers. A healthy participation from students was observed during the event.

Pakistan Cultural Day

East Campus

The Department of Pakistan Studies organized “Pakistan Cultural Day” on March 21, 2023. 
The students of different backgrounds presented their cultural heritage. The Dean FSS Prof. Dr. Khalid Sultan, along with the Head of the Department Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Malik, witnessed the event and interacted with the students. The students also presented their dresses, cultural dances, food and literature to the Guests. The Dean FSS and HoD Pakistan Studies highly praised the students for their efforts in presenting the colourful culture of Pakistan. The Dean FSS emphasizes the students to foster interfaith harmony for the promotion of patriotism in Pakistan. The students also thanked the faculty members and staff of the department for guiding them in organizing such events. They also urged the department to continue such practices for the promotion of National Harmony.
