Each one, Plant one" Social Responsibility Society (SRS) of the Department of English, UGS held a plantation drive today at NUML on March 8, 2023. Nine plants were successfully planted which included Apricot, Guava, Phoenix palm, and King fex. The plant saplings were carefully selected keeping in mind their chance of survival and therefore the sapling size of the plants was between 8-10 ft. The trees were planted by students, Faculty members and the Society team.

Department of English UGS held a one-day Literary Talk Show on March 10, 2023. The event was organized by English Literary Society (ELS) of the department. Panel Discussion on the topic "Genres in Crisis" was successfully conducted in which renowned Intellectuals from International Islamic University and NUML were engaged as Penalists. These experts enlightened the audience with their insights on the topic and discussed new research avenues for students of English. NUML Dramatics Club (NDC) showcased a metatheatrical performance, entitled "NUML's Got Talent," in a bid to highlight the varying (and quite often parallel as well as mostly unnoticed) manifestations of human existence - each equally potent and simultaenoulsy worthy of being staged and theatrically performed on 14th March 2023. In front of the full-to-capacity Jinnah Auditorium audience, as many as 40 students showcased their talent and garnered applause from all present.
