The Department of Pakistan Studies organised a study trip on March 17, 2023, for its students to visit the National Monument of Pakistan. During the trip, students visited the National Museum and witnessed the historical collections, placed in the museum. The study trip aimed at enlightening the students about the history of Pakistan.

The event shed light on the critical role of mental well-being in career planning and provided valuable insights to the attendees.

Setting the tone for the session with Plato's emphatic "All learning has an emotional base" quote, our today's guest speaker Dr Abdul Baseer Qazi, from Bahria University, Islamabad, highlighted the need, on part of the teachers, to engage with the affective domain of the students, to help them find solution to the multifaceted nature of their behavioural issues, by means of acting as their role models. In his talk, entitled, "Affective Domain: How to Change the Attitude of Our Students?" he presented data from multiple sources to emphasize the role of teacher in creating an enabling environment inside the class.

Psychological well-being society, Department of Applied Psychology NUML Islamabad arranged a one day awareness seminar on " Psychological well-being".The aim was to educate the audience regarding significance of mental health at every stage of life, from childhood to adolescence through adulthood. An insight regarding the prioritization of psychological health and well-being was also provided to the students . Furthermore students were also briefed about the counseling services being provided at NUML. Resource Person was Ms.Tayyaba Safdar, Counselling Psychologist National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad.

Department of Persian Studies, NUML organized the Cultural Event Nowruz on 16th March 2023. The Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran distributed the scholarships to BS students, followed by the Cultural Counselor and Dean FoL who initiated the Cultural Exhibition of Nowruz Festival by cutting the Ribbon. Faculty and students visited the cultural heritage of Iran.
