Seminar: Awareness on Psychological well-being
Psychological well-being society, Department of Applied Psychology NUML Islamabad arranged a one day awareness seminar on " Psychological well-being".The aim was to educate the audience regarding significance of mental health at every stage of life, from childhood to adolescence through adulthood. An insight regarding the prioritization of psychological health and well-being was also provided to the students . Furthermore students were also briefed about the counseling services being provided at NUML. Resource Person was Ms.Tayyaba Safdar, Counselling Psychologist National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad.

NOWRUZ
Department of Persian Studies, NUML organized the Cultural Event Nowruz on 16th March 2023. The Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran distributed the scholarships to BS students, followed by the Cultural Counselor and Dean FoL who initiated the Cultural Exhibition of Nowruz Festival by cutting the Ribbon. Faculty and students visited the cultural heritage of Iran.

Tree Plantation Drive by Social Responsibility Society on 8th March, 2023
Each one, Plant one"
Social Responsibility Society (SRS) of the Department of English, UGS held a plantation drive today at NUML on March 8, 2023.
Nine plants were successfully planted which included Apricot, Guava, Phoenix palm, and King fex. The plant saplings were carefully selected keeping in mind their chance of survival and therefore the sapling size of the plants was between 8-10 ft. The trees were planted by students, Faculty members and the Society team.

Literary Talk Show organized by English Literary Society on 10th March
Department of English UGS held a one-day Literary Talk Show on March 10, 2023. The event was organized by English Literary Society (ELS) of the department. Panel Discussion on the topic "Genres in Crisis" was successfully conducted in which renowned Intellectuals from International Islamic University and NUML were engaged as Penalists. These experts enlightened the audience with their insights on the topic and discussed new research avenues for students of English.
