English Literary Society (ELS) of English UGS, NUML presents the second episode of its podcast series titled "South Asian Literature: Challenges and Scope".
This podcast series aims to disseminate knowledge among students and faculty regarding important literary topics and provides a platform for students to enhance their public speaking. The podcast also engages English students in recording, editing, and developing graphics/videos, hence honing their technological skills through such interdisciplinary projects.
In this second episode, Dr. Yasir Arafat explores the culturally rich and territorially diverse world of South Asian Literature.

Orientation of new students of BS Engish and BS Bridging on 9th September, 2024
The orientation session for BS English and BS Bridging students on September 9, 2024, began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome address from Dr. Safeer Awan, Dean, FAH. Dr. Farheen Ahmed Hashmi, Head of English GS, and Dr. Muntazar Mehdi, Head of English UGS, also welcomed the new students. Dr. Nadeem Talib, Director of Academics, provided a program overview, and Dr. Wajeeha Shahid, Director of Examinations, briefed on the exam rules. Dr. Saira Nudrat and Raja Kamran from the Student Affairs Office concluded by informing students about campus resources. The event ended with group photos, and the new students had a guided campus tour with the orientation guides.

On May 9, 2024, the Departmental Facilitation and Support Club (DFSC) held a successful one-day Graphic design workshop in the Main Auditorium. Mr. Zaman Ali, a seasoned graphic designer and entrepreneur, shared valuable insights on digital marketing and growth hacking. DEAN FAH Prof. Dr. Muhammad Safeer Awan commended the workshop and presented a souvenir to Mr. Zaman Ali in appreciation of his contributions.
