Webinar: "Influence of Immigration on Spanish Language of Argentine"
The Department of Spanish Language organized an online informative Webinar on "Influence of Immigration on Spanish Language of Argentine", on Tuesday 21st November 2023 from 09:00 to 10:30 am at Iqbal Hall, Ibne Rushd Block . The aim of this webinar was to get the students familiarize with the historical, linguistic and cultural influence of immigration in American context and especially its impact on Argentinian Spanish. Ms. Rosana D'Alesandro, former HOD Spanish Department and Spanish language teaching expert from Argentina was the guest speaker.

شعبہ اردو نمل اورالفارابی یونیورسٹی ، قازقستان کے باہم اشتراک سے5دسمبر2023 کو ایک روزہ آن لائن ورکشاپ بعنوان قازقستان اور پاکستان: ثقافتی و تاریخی روابط کاانعقادکیاگیا جس میں قازقستان اور پاکستان کے ثقافتی اور تاریخی تعلقات کے حوالے سے آگاہی فراہم کی گئ۔ اس ورکشاپ کا مقصد مستقبل کے تعاون کے لیے نمل یونیورسٹی اور فارابی یونیورسٹی کے درمیان دو طرفہ ہم آہنگی کو بڑھانا تھا۔ اس ورکشاپ میں شعبہ اردو کے بی ایس اردو ۔ ساتویں سمسٹر کے طلبہ نے شرکت کی ۔ورکشاپ کے انعقاد کی ذمےداری نمل کی جانب سے شعبہ اردوکےاستاد ڈاکٹرنعیم مظہر نےانجام دی جبکہ ورکشاپ ڈین فیکلٹی آف لینگویجز کی زیرصدارت منعقدہوئی۔

Workshop on Writing Statement of Purpose Organized by Career Planning Society (CPS) on 30th Nov, 2023
The Career Planning Society, Department of English (UGS) organized a workshop focusing on crafting a compelling Statement of Purpose, at Confucious Hall on 30th November 2023. The event was organized to assist the students in improving the content of the application to target international scholarships. Dr Aziz Ullah Khan was invited as a speaker, who is a faculty member of the Department of English (UGS) and an awardee of three international scholarships. He shared his first-hand knowledge about targeting international scholarships. The lecture was followed by a question-answer session and a practice exercise to write a Statement of Purpose using the given guidelines. The session was attended by students and faculty members. The session helped the students advance their academic and professional pursuits.

On the national day of Sindhi Culture, a seminar was held at Pakistani languages department NUML. Respected Dr Manzoor Ali Veesrio gave a detail lecture on Sindhi culture in contemporary. Dr Jamil Ahmed Jami, dean of languages, presided over the seminar.
