The Department of Mathematics organized a faculty training on MATLAB on November 2, 2023, aiming to enhance the knowledge and skills of faculty members in MATLAB programming and its various applications. Dr. Muhammad Asif Farooq, from NUST University, served as the trainer.
The training session focused on showcasing the diverse applications of MATLAB in mathematical modeling, numerical computations, and simulations. The participants gained insights into solving complex mathematical problems using MATLAB's built-in functions and toolboxes.
The trainer guided the participants on how to write MATLAB scripts and functions. They learned about control structures, loops, conditional statements, and modular programming techniques. Feedback from the participants was overwhelmingly positive.
