Interdepartmental Bilingual Declamation Contest organized by Debates and Declamation Society, English UGS was held on 25-5-23. Several departments sent nominations of participants for English and Urdu Declamation. English declamation was adjudicated by Dr. Syeda Huma Batool from Air University and Ms. Roshaan Amber from English (GS), NUML, and the Urdu declamation was adjudicated by Mr. M. Rehan Abbasi and Dr. Mehmood from Urdu Debating Society, NUML. The Guest of Honor, Dean FAH, Dr. M. Safeer Awan distributed the Certificates and shields among the winners and the adjudicators. HoD English (UGS) distributed certificates among the participants of the declamation contest.

Departmental Facilitation and Support Club (DFSC) in the guidance of focal person Miss Iram Shehzadi, arranged a successful webinar for all students of BS English. In this webinar students were given the guidance of QEC processes like e registration, subject and teacher evaluation forms. Our presenters, Waseem Younas and Mohammad Roman and the IT team successfully solved the problems students faced in this regard like login issues, forgetting password, semester change and profile update. The webinar was a success in achieving it's outcome of solving all the issues of the students.

The seminar on Career choices for the graduates of English, organized by Team Alumni Faculty of arts and Humanities, took place on 26th May 2023 , featuring Pro. Dr. Muhammad Safeer Awan (Dean FAH) as esteemed speaker sharing insights and experiences, attendees gained valuable knowledge and discovered new perspectives on leveraging their English degrees for success.The event fostered meaningful connections among like-minded individuals, enabling them to expand their networks and exchange ideas.
