Korean Literary Society
- Vision:
The vision of this society is to promote Korean literature among the students of the Department of Korean Language and Culture, as students are actively learning the Korean language, so this society will benefit them in the disciplines of writing, reading, and speaking by conducting events that are both instructional and enjoyable.
- Mission:
The society aims to foster a love for the Korean language, enhance literary creativity, and provide an avenue for self-expression beyond the academic curriculum.
- Purpose:
The purpose of this society is to promote Korean reading, writing, and speaking among students of the Department of Korean Language and Culture. Students can perform various literary activities in the form of a literary week, arranging debates, essay writing competitions, poem composition, movie days, and also launching electronic magazines/journals, which will be available on the official website of NUML.
- Objective :
- To engage students and faculty in activities that promote the Korean language.
- Literary society is to develop self-efficacy and confidence, and would help to enhance the general knowledge base.
- Sharpening the skills of students to write better and read better.
- Assisting them in being more creative with their expression and thinking beyond limits.
- To assist students in developing excellent communication skills and teach them to think spontaneously.
