NUML ECONOMICS SOCIETY (NES), a venture of Department of Economics “National University of Modern Languages Islamabad” (NUML). NES promotes discussion of, and debate about, economic issues and economic policies, supports the training and professional development of economists and encourages the study and teaching of economics. Further this society is to expose Economics and Finance Students to current real life economic situations through various field trips, guest speakers, and competitions. We believe that Today’s economics students are tomorrow’s policymakers - we think it’s vital that they are trained to think critically, independently and with an understanding of the real-world. Help us campaign for a better economics education. The Society will work toward the mission of NUML University and attempt to advance the social, moral, cultural, intellectual, and spiritual development of its members. It does this by: 

• Conducting regular meetings, seminars, and conferences to promote economic discussion and debate.

• Supporting Young Economists of Department of Economics (NUML) which provides young professionals with a forum to network and to engage with their peers to discuss topical economic issues.

• Economics Society offers its members the opportunity for academic learning, socializing and career development by playing an active role in organizing academic, social and careers based events for our members throughout the year.
