  1. Mission:

 

A literary society that promotes literary discourse through literary events that harness the burgeoning talents of students to bring together bright young critics, poets, thinkers and writers.

 

  1. Vision:

 

To promote literature, indigenous and otherwise, to preserve our literary identities in contemporary times, and to provide a platform for students to hone their skills.

 

  1. Purpose:

 

The ELS has been formed to enhance a love for literature, foster intellectual approaches and present an avenue to literary souls for self-expression through writing, and reading. The ELS assists aspiring writers of various genres in channelizing their potential and helps them better grasp their capabilities. The ELS offers readers, writers, and other literature aficionados a distinctive way to discover and analyze the incentives underlying the roots of contemporary literature and its framework.

 

The purpose of the ELS is to provide an organized platform for students to explore beyond the academic curriculum to foster further literary competency. The society employs a schema of a variety of activities which aims at fostering the right way to learn, groom, and grow in a stable, encouraging, and structured environment.
